Flavor: What does the donut taste like? Are the fillings or toppings well-balanced, or does one overpower the rest?
Texture: Is the donut soft or tough? If there's a crust or topping, does it add the right bite? Do fillings add a good contrast (creamy, crunchy, gooey), or do they work against the donut?
WYBI (Would You Buy It?): How much did you enjoy the donut? Would it be your first pick off the case? If you’re ordering a box of donuts, would you include this flavor?

The Lineup: We tested 13 donuts from our local Krispy Kreme branch, with flavors you'll find in Metro Manila stores.
Why We're Doing This: We all know Krispy Kreme’s Original Glaze is good. (Spoilers: It’s the top-ranking donut of this list.) And if KK’s most basic donut is good, that means its more dressed-up flavors are just as good, if not better… right? That’s the bet we make when faced with their twenty-something flavors. Add a steady stream of monthly seasonals, and the guessing never stops. So we’re trying all of them, starting with 13: the classics, the ones we’d normally skip, and a few we’re just curious about.
How We Tasted: All donuts were purchased and tested the same day to ensure freshness. Each donut was sampled as is, at room temperature.
How We Scored: Each donut was evaluated across 3 criteria. Final placements reflect the Pepper team's averaged impressions.
Transparency: No brand paid for inclusion in this taste test.
