You Have Got to Try This Indulgent Steak Sandwich at Tramezzino’s Panini

July 5, 2020

Sometimes, all you need is an honest-to-goodness handheld sandwich to indulge in. Whether it’s your good ‘ole PB&J or an outlandish combination of dill pickles and cookie butter, sinking your teeth into toasty bread with your filling spilling over its sides and into your mouth is almost equivalent to a dose of heaven on earth.

Panini 2

With that said, Tramezzino’s paninis are a promising contender in this category. Using ciabatta bread as the panini base, grilled peppery steak is layered alongside some aioli and lettuce. A homemade barbecue sauce is slathered before adding crisp bacon and Bleu de Auvergne. While the bleu might come as a sharp nuancing flavor, we believe it is the ideal choice of cheese to complement this carnivorous combo. Catch them every Wednesday to Sunday at Pioneer Street Market Legaspi Sunday Market.

I’ll see you (panini) weekend after this coming one. Unless I wake up late. Or it’s too hot. Or I feel tamad. Or…

I hope I see you weekend after this coming one.
