You Have Got to Try This Indulgent Steak Sandwich at Tramezzino’s Panini

Sometimes, all you need is an honest-to-goodness handheld sandwich to indulge in. Whether it’s your good ‘ole PB&J or an outlandish combination of dill pickles and cookie butter, sinking your teeth into toasty bread with your filling spilling over its sides and into your mouth is almost equivalent to a dose of heaven on earth.

With that said, Tramezzino’s paninis are a promising contender in this category. Using ciabatta bread as the panini base, grilled peppery steak is layered alongside some aioli and lettuce. A homemade barbecue sauce is slathered before adding crisp bacon and Bleu de Auvergne. While the bleu might come as a sharp nuancing flavor, we believe it is the ideal choice of cheese to complement this carnivorous combo.
