Tita Emm’s in Makati Cinema Square Offers Japanese Dishes for Less Than PHP100

January 3, 2019

While the name Tita Emm’s doesn’t suggest it, this kiosk actually sells typical Japanese fare carinderia style, complete with bento meals that include rice and a drink. The Japanese owned stall stands in the relocated food court of Makati Cinema Square, which is a popular spot to grab satisfying food for less than PHP100.

We love the gyoza with rice, but they have options for everyone.

While meals that cost this little may not compare to the restaurants in Little Tokyo across the street from MCS, they can hit the spot when you are hard up for cash but still hankering for your favorite Japanese cooked meal.

A former picky eater, Bea has discovered the joys of savory fruit dishes, but still refuses to accept pineapples on her pizza. On the rare occasion you catch her without food in her mouth, you are likely to find her looking at books she can't afford, hugging trees, or talking to strange animals on the street.

Love this place. Been eating here for more than two years. Get the sukiyaki (my friend swears by the tempura).
