Everyone’s obsessed with K-dramas and all the delicious dishes featured in the shows, but It’s not always easy to get your samgyupsal fix. If you want to taste the same flavors with stuff you can easily find in your own home, or find in any grocery, then we’ve solved the problem for you. We’ve introduced kimchi to an easy-to-make, comforting tuna melt, so that you get the same spicy, pungent kick, but with ingredients that are probably already in your pantry.
What really makes this dish is the gochujang mayonnaise (we’ve used Lady’s Choice here), which binds the tuna and kimchi together. It adds a signature spicy sweetness you can only get from Korean food, and goes perfectly well with the melty, cheesy topping, mimicking that popular Korean fried chicken + cheese sauce pairing.
