The Cold Brew Round-Up: Find the Cool Brew That Fits You

February 24, 2016

Cold-brewed coffees have been around for quite some time now and it’s easy to see why people like them so much. It is, plainly put, the hip younger brother of iced coffee. “Sup brew? I was cool even before you had ice put on you!” The difference, apart from the obvious temperature change, is the way in which it’s rendered.

While traditional coffees require hot water, the slow process of steeping the grounds, often pegged at a 12 hour-long drip, gives the brew a different flavor profile since it’s not subjected to any heat. This, in turn, delivers higher caffeine content to the drink, giving it that extra buzz. So to help you decide on which cold one you ought to be having, here are some of Manila’s cooler brews.
