Make This Easy Tex-Mex Nacho Bake Recipe at Home

Sushi bake, samgyup bake—2020 is the year of “baked” goods. If you’re looking to make an equally indulgent alternative, this recipe for nacho bake has Tex-Mex flavors with a cheesy, creamy, top.

This layered dip has fixings you’d normally expect from a 7 layer dip: taco-seasoned ground beef, black beans, for example. But to change things up, we’ve combined the cheese, jalapeno, and Lady’s Choice Real Mayonnaise into a thick, velvety mixture that you can easily mix then ladle on top before you bake the whole thing in the oven.

When baked, serve it alongside shredded lettuce and salsa, and serve with nacho chips, for a dip worthy of any merienda.

Instructions for Tex-Mex Nacho Bake

  1. Preheat oven to 375F.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, Lady’s Choice Real Mayonnaise, chopped jalapeno, and brine until well combined.
  3. Set aside.
  4. Add oil to a pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Add the ground beef and taco seasoning, and mix until well combined.
  6. Cook the beef until browned and crisp, about 10-15 minutes.
  7. Transfer the beef to the bottom of an oven safe dish.
  8. Pour the drained black beans over the beef in a single layer.
  9. Spread over the cheese, jalapeno, and mayonnaise mixture in an even layer until everything is fully covered.
  10. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake until the top is golden and bubbling, about 10-15 minutes.
  11. Remove from oven and top with the shredded lettuce and jarred salsa.
  12. Serve with tortilla chips.
