Pepper.PH’s culinary director Kimmie Cortez shows us how to make a simple green chili sauce that can give an extra kick to any dish you enjoy adding something hot to. The green chilis give it a fresh taste, are easy to find, and add some color to your dish of choice. Though the method is hard to get wrong, Kimmie walks us through every single step to make sure we don’t mess it up anyway, bless her.

It’s a nice plus to have your own fresh, homemade chili sauce in the fridge to add to pizzas, meat dishes (specifically seafood, suggests Kimmie), or what-have-you, since you get to dictate your preferred level of spice in said sauce. That and the sauce lasts a week in the fridge, so you can prepare your stomach (and bathroom) for a week of delicious heat.
