Stoned Steaks Lets You Cook Your Steak of Choice over a Heated Lava Stone in Front of You

February 21, 2019

Stoned Steaks is not a gimmick. Some may argue that it is one of the ideal ways to eat steak, because cooking on the stone doesn’t allow the juices to drip off. Instead, they stay in the steak so that every bite is dreamily juicy. That and the stone keeps your steak warm (as long as you make sure not to overcook it).

Yes, that is herbed butter melting on top of it.

There are steaks for varying budgets and tastes, including popular angus ribeye and our favorite, the wagyu ribeye. For steak connoisseurs, Stoned Steaks even offers dry aged steaks of varying grades. You have a choice of up to 8 different types of sauces too—though you just pick too, so we’d recommend the blue cheese and the mustard—but with steaks this good, you don’t really need them.

Bea Osmeña SEE AUTHOR Bea Osmeña

Bea Osmeña is a healthy-ish eater who is just as likely to take you to a vegan joint as she is to consume a whole cheese pie to herself. A former picky eater, Bea has discovered the joys of savory fruit dishes, but still refuses to accept pineapples on her pizza. On the rare occasion you catch her without food in her mouth, you are likely to find her looking at books she can't afford, hugging trees, or talking to strange animals on the street.
