New Spot Single Origin Transitions From Day to Night

June 1, 2020

We Filipinos absolutely love our coffee shops, and Single Origin is the latest one to hit the restaurant scene in Metro Manila. The drinks and decor might remind you of Refinery, but it separates itself with a few elements. Located in Bonifacio High Street, the place is bound to be a hit–it transitions from day to night, and has an extensive food menu, and an even more extensive drinks one, with a wide selection of beers, and some impressive cocktails. Check out a few of their offerings below.

Left, from Top: Bacon Basket, PHP 175. Crab Fat Pasta, PHP 260. | Right, from Top: Creme Brulee, PHP 190. Fried Chicken with Waffles, PHP 320.

Left: Shrimp Po Boy, PHP 220. | Right, from Top: Hot Chocolate Cheesecake, PHP 195. Blueberry Granola Pancakes, PHP 280.

Left: Classic Corned Beef and Eggs, PHP 350.

    Interesting, will check it out.

To answer the question, my go-to is Penny Lane, at which I find the music (live jamming with the baristas and owner!) primary to the coffee. The brew isn’t bad at all, actually. I’d hit Magnum Opus more often too, but it can get quite full…
