Thick, savory breakfast toasts are a huge staple in Asian countries like South Korea and Japan, and this recipe is a cross between those dishes, and the French croque monsieur. It comes together easily; all you need is soft bread, brioche or your preferred type, and a few ingredients such as cheese, eggs, and butter.

What makes this toast richer is the addition of NESTLÈ All Purpose Cream. While french toasts are usually just dipped in milk or butter, the extra step of soaking the bread with cream and spices, ensures that each slice has a velvety texture, and is steeped in the flavor of the savory marinade. Top it off with an egg, blitz quickly in the oven, and you have a dish worthy of any Japanese kissaten.
