Señor Pollo is arguably the first restaurant in Manila to have started the style of roast chicken paired with peri-peri. While other restaurants may have offered the style of roast chicken, it was Señor Pollo that popularized it, drawing crowds to its hip and dimly lit location in the then-still developing Poblacion some years ago. This airconless first branch managed to create enough popularity for itself that the restaurant has since expanded out into a full-fledged chain with 6 branches around Metro Manila.
It certainly figured out the way to a Filipino’s heart is through our stomachs, and one of the meats Filipinos can’t get enough of is chicken. Have it fried or roasted, Señor Pollo will always serve up something moist with flavor, and fun to consume with their selection of dips.
