Named after the god of Filipino mythology, Batala Bar specializes in cocktails that highlight Filipino ingredients. They offer only locally made beer, several of which are available on tap, and a wider selection in bottles (that are later recycled), and they even offer local kombucha on tap and bottle as well. The cocktails are garnished with hydroponically grown herbs from their outdoor vertical garden, and mixed using local liquor.
Their cocktails are local takes on classics, such as the Manila Mule (from the Moscow Mule), the Bloody Maria (from the Bloody Mary), the MOMOL (standing for Mojito, Mojito lang) and the Padyak (translation: Sidecar). It shares a space with PH @ Gallery, which showcases craftwork by local artisans, giving you a new talk-piece almost every time you visit. And every 8:30PM, free shots bambanog (their very own bamboo-infused lambanog) are given out to all patrons, or you can also purchase a shot of your own at any time for 63 (our country code).
