The Aristocrat story is one of small beginnings, having started out as a humble eatery at St. Theresa College in the 1920’s selling Aling Asiang Reyes’ specialties to droves of hungry students. The relative success would allow them to convert into a “rolling food store”, selling food through a traveling Ford car around Luneta Park, and eventually to the restaurant (and chain) that they are today, serving up Filipino specialties and baked goods that have become a hit with locals.

While the Aristocrat menu is full of stellar gems, it’s their expertly-grilled chicken barbecue that keeps loyal customers coming back. Charred just enough but still tender and flavorful within, and paired with java rice and atsara, it’s no wonder—even in the midst of the ever-evolving Manila dining scene—customers continue to flock their branches.
