Make Conti's bestselling baked salmon—cheese crust, buttered vegetables and all—in your oven or air fryer.
Want to wow your family and friends? Make this cheesy baked salmon a la Conti's.
Save yourself the headache of ordering from the shop—in just 30 minutes, you can achieve the same silky salmon covered in a rich, cheesy crust. The buttered vegetables complete the feast while adding color and crunch. Bonus: You can make it in your air fryer!
The dish comes together in three parts:
Before starting, make sure to preheat your oven or air fryer to 350°F (or 180°C). For less cleanup, you can bake your salmon in a Pyrex or ceramic baking dish, add the buttered vegetables there, and bring everything straight to your dinner table.
Preheat oven or air fryer to 350°F (180°C).
Make the topping: Combine all topping ingredients in a bowl. Mix until smooth and well incorporated, then set aside. For a smoother consistency, run the topping through a food processor or a blender.
Prepare and bake salmon: Pat salmon dry with a paper towel and season lightly with salt. Lay the salmon—skin-side down if there is skin—on a baking or air fryer tray lined with parchment paper. Spread the cream topping onto the salmon, making sure to cover the surface. Bake or air fry for 15–20 minutes.
Cook vegetables: While the salmon bakes, add butter to a pan over medium heat. Add carrots and sayote and cook, stirring frequently, until slightly softened, about 3-4 minutes. Add green beans and cook until softened, about 1-2 minutes. Then add corn and cook for another 1–2 minutes. Season with salt and set aside.
Serve: Transfer salmon onto the center of a deep platter. Plate buttered vegetables around the fish. Serve warm.
