Quickly’s Taro Ice Was the OG Boba Drink—Here’s How to Make It at Home

June 9, 2019

Before milk tea was even a thing, Quickly was already playing the cold-drink-with-boba game. Their thick concoctions are cheap, satisfying, and delicious—so much so that (we dare say it) we’d choose it over milk tea any day.

It’s safe to say that you’ll finish this… quickly.

This recipe is Quickly’s most basic drink, which means that you can customize it to make their other combos. For Choco Loco fans, all you need is chocolate syrup! It’s not as sweet as the original, but the flavor still cuts it pretty close.
