Our No-Fuss Piña Colada Recipe Only Needs Three Ingredients You Probably Already Have in Your Pantry

June 16, 2020

Some days, the thought of having a piña colada on a hot day is just too alluring to let pass. So you think, “Okay, that picture is easy enough to manifest.” It’s rarely not hot here anyway, so all you need is the cocktail. But then you look at recipes and all of them ask for fresh pineapple slices, white rum, dark rum, fresh lime juice, cherries, and sometimes, a bunch more stuff. Then you’re like, “… never mind.”

How many times can we reference the song before it becomes annoying?

Well, we’ve been there. So we developed a foolproof recipe that doesn’t need any fancy ingredients. In fact, it only needs three (even less if you’re making it sans alcohol); and we’re willing to bet you have all of them in your pantry. Make sure your ingredients are cold before blending to get a thick, creamy piña colada! We couldn’t find tiny umbrellas for ours, but if you have some lying around, we recommend finishing off your drink with them.
