This local brew’s arrived just in time for October’s highly inebriated festivities—Pedro Brewcrafters’ Endless Summer Wheat Ale. We believe this bottle’s hit the Filipino palate right in the dead center—it starts off with a gentle carbonation with a medium, malty body. For an ale, it leans more on the heavier side, with a crisp note that’s definitely an ode to the sunny season as it is a refreshing choice for those who prefer a sweet, semi-fruity flavor with medium hoppy tones and a mild nutty finish.

Curious to try? Sample a bottle at Bar Pintxos (Muntinlupa), The Bottle Shop and The Perfect Pint (Fort Bonifacio), and for Makati dwellers, you can check them out at The Belle & Dragon, The Bottle Shop at Magallanes, Smoky Bastard at Hole in the Wall, Z Hostel in Poblacion, and Backyard Kitchen + Brew (also available in their branches that go beyond Makati).

We like pairing Pedro with oily, fatty, feel-good grub, but if you’ve tried it, tell us how you enjoy it or what you’d love to eat it with in the comments section below.
