We forced our favorite recipe developer Kimmie Cortez to bring out her jolliest attire for our holiday edition of Cooking with Kimmie! She creates a very buttery, smooth, nutty squash lasagna, that can or cannot be vegetarian (but we promise is by no means healthy—at all).
And what makes this recipe a bit easier is the no-boil lasagna, that you can pick up at grocery stores. Remember that because of the nature of no-boil lasagna noodles, it needs a lot of water in order to cook thoroughly, but don’t fret. Using this version of lasagna makes the whole process easier. Don’t skimp on the lasagna sheets, and make sure the sauce is liquid enough to pour all over the noodles.
