Miyazaki Gyu Serves High-Grade Wagyu Imported from the Miyazaki Prefecture in Japan

July 4, 2019

Everyone knows of wagyu, the delicious, fatty high-grade Japanese beef. They are often classified based on the region that they come from and comes with a distinct rating from the Japan Meat Grading Association (the highest being A5). Most people know about Kobe and Matsusaka beef, but Miyazaki Gyu in BGC serves wagyu from the Miyazaki Prefecture in Japan, a variety that won the honored “National Wagyu Awards” by the Wagyu Registry Association of Japan.

What did the beef say to its crush? “I wagyu.”

Miyazaki Gyu’s menu is pretty much a collection of different ways to cook, present, and eat the prized beef. Their Steak Tartare is a stand-out as it presents the wagyu in its literal raw form, giving you a unique way to savor and experience the meat. You can also buy the beef in different cuts then prepare it at home.

The restaurant is celebrating its first year, so they’ve lined up different promos for every day of July. Pro tip: go on a weekend to score unlimited wine (Fridays and Saturdays) or 25% off your entire bill (if you’re a party of three or more; on Sundays).
