- 2 cups dalandan juice, sweetened
- ½ cup vodka
- ½ cup mint leaves, picked and cleaned
It’s already starting to get balmier out, even at night, and we can feel summer is just around the corner. While we’re all still pretending to keep our new years resolutions of eating better, we came up with a simple and refreshing vitamin C-rich slushie to help keep you cool while keeping your fruit intake in check (plus it’s flu season, so citrus fruits can only help).
So we added vodka into this version just for fun, but it tastes just as great without it. And if you can’t find a sweetened dalandan juice, we’d recommend adding 1/4 cup of honey or just sweeten it to your taste. Dalanghita, which taste like a cross between an orange and a calamansi, are currently in season so make the most out of this tasty fruit while you still can.
