Do You Dare Bite into This Tangy Gorgonzola Burger We’ve Created in Collaboration with Listerine?

Sometimes, cooking can get a little tedious. You fall into a pattern, and once something is easy to make, you never change recipes or attempt something new. But you shouldn’t turn something that should be enjoyable and fun into a chore: you should be stepping up your current habits and using your basic skills to create something really, lip-smackingly delicious. If you’ve mastered the art of perfectly crisp fried chicken, why not add spices in the batter and give it kick? Or add boursin cheese while you’re scrambling eggs to make it seriously silky? Or try it the Pepper way and add a twist to your regular homemade burgers? All you need to do is add an extra ingredient to your recipe to step up your regular cooking game.

We’ve paired up with Listerine to create a seriously delicious burger, which will take your normal recipe up a notch. We’ve added Indian spices to a regular burger patty for some deep, earthy flavors that will switch up your good old salt and pepper seasoning. Forget mayonnaise or ketchup- chunky blue cheese sauce with fresh chopped garlic adds both creaminess and the salty funkiness you can only get from cheese. And really, do away with your regular toppings and make our garlic onion jam, a sweet and savory sludge of onions that ties all that pungent deliciousness together. You’re probably going to need to brush your teeth after this one, but just like you add an extra ingredient to your recipe to change things up, enhance your dental regimen too by adding a rinse of Listerine. Who says you have to step into your old routine to have it good?

Tangy Gorgonzola Burger

Total Time: 20 minutes
Yield: 4 burgers

Ingredients: Burger Patty

  • 250g ground beef
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 tsp chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 tsp coriander
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder

Ingredients: Tangy Gorgonzola Burger

  • 4 mini burger buns
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 3-4 tbsp blue cheese
  • 4 tsps garlic onion jam
  • 4 burger patties

Procedure: Tangy Gorgonzola Burger

  1. Mix all ingredients of the patty and divide into 4 burger patties. Set aside in chiller until ready to use.
  2. Pan grill burger patties for 2-4 minutes per side. Set aside and keep warm.
  3. Toast bun. Use bottom half and top with lettuce, burger patty, garlic onion jam and blue cheese. Cover with top bun.
  4. Repeat with the rest of the ingredients.
