Here’s some good news: it’s mango season! And we’re all ready to use the fruit in everything we make; salads, desserts, drinks—you name it. But while there’s so much to celebrate about its ripe, golden state, let’s not forget that green mangoes are just as delicious.
And they’re just as versatile too. That’s right, they’re not just for dipping into bagoong. See here, we’ve made an iced tea from it; and we’ve gotta say: it’s damn refreshing—great for this insane summer heat.
This green mango iced tea can be done in 10 minutes (or even less, actually). But you have to let it steep for a few hours (overnight is best) before serving, so we suggest you make it in the morning so you have it ready by merienda time. Oh, and it goes without saying, serve this with loads of ice.
