Following the Closing of The Collective in San Antonio Plaza, Wabi-Sabi Reopens in Makati Central SquareMarch 31, 2019
A cult-favorite to vegetarians and non-veg hipsters alike for its affordable dishes and (at least for the latter group) location, Wabi-Sabi Noodle House & Vegetarian Grocery is a decade old institution. But since the closing of the art hub known as The Collective, Wabi-Sabi has had to relocate its Makati branch. After months of impatience from their dedicated customers (just read comments on their Facebook page to see how much people missed it!), it is finally open.
The new, much larger, beautifully designed noodle house sits in the new extension of MCS (which has recently rebranded from Makati Cinema Square to Makati Central Square), accompanying a number of other Asian restaurants. Unlike the Collective branch, this new one has picture windows that allow for natural light to come shining in, so your photos for the ‘gram are better lit. With an expanded menu from their original svelt offerings, we’d recommend trying the okonomigyoza, but their classic banh mi is always a good choice too.
