Cookie Chips Are Better Than Brownie Brittle

At some point in the year, people went crazy over Sheila’s Brownie Brittle. Once it was hard to find, those rare things people brought home from the States or scoured in random one-off food specialty stores. Then it blew up, and it was everywhere. S&R started stocking massive amounts of the bags filled with crisped up brownies that were as thin as chips. I loved the stuff, all chocolatey goodness in a thin, crisp layer, but with dots of chocolate chips still intact. They were delicious, but the hefty price tag that came with it made it not-all-that-appealing, and they were much too heavy for an afternoon snack. Soon enough, I tired of them quickly and it’s been ages since I’ve gotten a pack.
My sister discovered something infinitely better—HannahMax Baking’s Crunchy Cookie Chips. They have the texture that Sheila’s Brownie Brittle does, but in flavors that are much more varied, way more interesting, and super delicious. It claims to be all natural with “no trans fats, no artificial flavors or colors, no preservatives, no GMOs”, but that’s not what I’m interested in. These things are the best snack discovery we’ve made in a while, hands down.

They come in 5 flavors, but only 3 are currently available in the Philippines: original, chocolate chip, and double chocolate. Each are equally as good as each other, and cater to different types of sweet tooth-s. Original is buttery and incredibly sweet, a little bit of a hint of gingerbread spice, but at times tasting of toffee. Chocolate chip is a classic, crunchy butter biscuit laced with chocolate chips that have somehow maintained gooey and soft at the bite. Double chocolate delivers on its promise, with intense chocolate on chocolate flavor, and the same tender chips of cocoa. They’re only found in branches of Candy Corner, so hurry and grab a bag of each quick—these snacks have the potential to go viral.

Where is this available?
Hi! We got our stash from The Cocoa Pantry in Greenbelt.
Ever tried Margie’s Brownie Thins? OhSoGood. Not available in Manila, sadly.
The Shiela’s brittles are so expensive! I saw a Chips Delight Cookie Crisps/Chips in Mercury Drug 😀 last week and they were delicious and cheaper too! 😀
