Chocolate Peanut Butter Cream SmoothieJune 5, 2016

Try our take on this chocolate and peanut butter smoothie made from tablea de cacao. These chocolate tablets made from ground cocoa beans enjoy a gritty texture and hints of bitterness that add an earthy flavor to the peanut butter. If you can’t find tablea de cacao at the grocery aisle, dark chocolate works great as an alternative.
Chocolate, an admittedly complex ingredient, can have flavors ranging from tart to fruity. When roasted, nutty notes shine through and complements the peanuts’ flavors. This popular pairing is our main inspiration for this quick and easy smoothie.
