Make This Easy Chocolate Ice Cream Recipe—Without a Machine

Ice cream isn’t impossible to make at home—in fact, there are many recipes out there that show you how to do it without any sort of machine. Our recipe takes the science behind creating a luscious scoop, and makes it even more indulgent and creamy, thanks to our friends from NESTLÉ All Purpose Cream.

This no-churn frozen treat uses cream and condensed milk to get the thick, velvety consistency you want from ice cream, without any special equipment. We’ve also incorporated cocoa powder and chopped chocolate for this particular recipe, but you can use your favorite ingredients and swap them to make whatever flavor you like.

  1. Pour NESTLÉ All Purpose Cream into a large bowl then whisk in the cocoa powder until well combined.
  2. Place the bowl into the fridge and let set until cream is very cold and thickened, about 1 hour.
  3. Remove the bowl from the fridge and using a mixer or whisk, whip cream until stiff peaks form.
  4. Pour in the condensed milk and fold carefully until combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped chocolate then transfer to a freezer safe container.
  6. Cover with a lid or plastic wrap and freeze until solid, preferably overnight before serving.
