Bakmi Nyonya Serves Cheap Indonesian Bakmi Noodle Dishes in Pioneer Street MarketAugust 8, 2019
After a few years as a Mercato Centrale regular, Bakmi Nyonya moved to a more permanent spot in Pioneer Street Market. The stall still serves delicious Indonesian food, including their signature bakmi noodle dishes. Bakmi refers to Southeast Asian wheat noodles, brought to the region by Chinese immigrants. It’s usually served in a soup or, as Bakmi Nyonya does it, as a stir-fried dish.
For less than PHP200, you get hearty servings topped with your choice of meat, seafood, or vegetables. They also offer other Indonesian classics. Try the Beef Rendang; the beef is so soft, it tears apart with just a poke of your fork.
