AINI-Chinese BBQ & Shabu-Shabu Offers Affordable Chinese Street-Food Style BBQ At Night

April 10, 2019

AINI- Chinese BBQ & ShabuShabu has 2 branches—one in the trendy Poblacion area, and the other in the more subtly cool Malate district. Both specialize in both shabushabu and shao kao, also known as their local barbecue best enjoyed as street food.

Admittedly, shabushabu isn’t the cheapest way to dine. Most especially since their servings are not small, and best made sulit with large groups of people. But thankfully the opposite is true for shao kao. Order small servings of BBQ sticks as you go, most of which go for less than PHP100 a stick.

Bea Osmeña SEE AUTHOR Bea Osmeña

Bea Osmeña is a healthy-ish eater who is just as likely to take you to a vegan joint as she is to consume a whole cheese pie to herself. A former picky eater, Bea has discovered the joys of savory fruit dishes, but still refuses to accept pineapples on her pizza. On the rare occasion you catch her without food in her mouth, you are likely to find her looking at books she can't afford, hugging trees, or talking to strange animals on the street.
