Xocolat Has a New Look and New Location, Still Serving Your Favorites with Updates

January 5, 2019

Xocolat is a classic dining destination for Katipunan locals. It has long been well-loved for its kitschy interiors, house setting, and chocolate-infused dishes and -based drinks. But just last year, Xocolat said goodbye to its former home to move across the street into a commercial space.

Get the goods at their counter—cookies, hot chocolate mix, cakes, and other items that are easy to take home.

The new location is a lot easier to find than its old location, which, while it had its charm, was frustrating for those already running late to meet their friends or family for merienda. You’ll be greeted by a long, comfortable woven bench that stretches along the balustrade.

Wait for your friends by this lovely wall of greenery.

This location also offers a more quiet, private second floor that overlooks the busy streets from a cozy distance. This second floor also doubles as a function space for private events. And perhaps our favorite part about the whole new look and location of Xocolat? Lots and lots of natural light.

Bea Osmeña SEE AUTHOR Bea Osmeña

Bea Osmeña is a healthy-ish eater who is just as likely to take you to a vegan joint as she is to consume a whole cheese pie to herself. A former picky eater, Bea has discovered the joys of savory fruit dishes, but still refuses to accept pineapples on her pizza. On the rare occasion you catch her without food in her mouth, you are likely to find her looking at books she can't afford, hugging trees, or talking to strange animals on the street.
