Though it’s pretty enough to pass as one of those drinks topped with little paper umbrellas, this Sriracha Mango Cocktail will set your mouth on fire. It starts with a sweet mango puree mixed with whisky, and finishes with pain. Unless you’re a masochist or have zero alcohol tolerance, we suspect it’ll be difficult to get drunk on this.
Also, we recommend this as a complementary pulutan.
Sriracha Mango Cocktail Shots
Total Time: 15 minutes / Yield: 6-8 servings
- 3/4 cup ripe mango puree
- 1/3 cup corn syrup
- 1/4 cup whiskey (we used Jack Daniel’s)
- Juice of 1 lime
- 2 cups ice cubes
- 1/2 – 1 tsp Sriracha
- Mix all ingredients in a shaker.
- Shake well for 3-5 minutes.
- Arrange shot glasses.
- Squirt in some sriracha and pour mango mix.
- Serve immediately.
