Kazunori adds to the growing list of ways that the Yushoken group has managed to blow our minds with Japanese food. From the same family as beloved modern classics Yushoken and Mendokoro, Kazunori is the jack-of-all-trades in the trio, with noteworthy food ranging from their tomato salad, tonkatsu, udon and soba. The restaurant is split into two: Kazu Café, located out front by the windows with a menu of fusion dishes like mentaiko spaghetti and toro teriyaki pizza; and the more traditional restaurant out back with table-clothed tables.

You can technically order from any menu wherever you’re seated, but we prefer to stick to our Japanese favorites, as our go-to dishes in this joint are the karai niku soba, bara chirashi, and unatamadon.
