Here’s How to Prepare a Heart-Shaped Breakfast for Your Loved One

Instead of serving a plain set of bacon, cheeses, and eggs, why not add a Valentine’s twist to it? Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to prepare these adorable, heart-shaped breakfast munchies that’ll make the cutest breakfast ever.

Heart-Shaped Bacon Strips

What you’ll need:

  1. Bacon
  2. Cookie pan
  3. Toothpick

How to do it:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 F and grease the cookie sheet.
  2. Cut the bacon into four. One across its length and one across its width.
  3. On the greased cookie pan, shape the 2 pieces of sliced bacon into a heart. Secure both ends with a toothpick.
  4. Bake until done.

Heart-Shaped Parmesan Crisps

What you’ll need:

  1. Freshly grated Parmesan Cheese (not the one that comes in those green bottles)
  2. Non-stick silicon baking mat or baking paper
  3. Cookie pan
  4. Paper with heart stencils or a heart-shaped cookie cutter

How to do it:

  1. Using the stencil or cookie cutter, trace the heart shapes on the paper, and cut them out.
  2. Preheat oven to 300 F.
  3. On a cookie pan lined with silicon mat or baking paper, place the paper with heart stencils, and sprinkle grated parmesan cheese inside the heart-shaped hole.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Heart-Shaped Hard Boiled Eggs

What you’ll need:

  1. Eggs
  2. A chopstick
  3. Carton
  4. Rubber band

How to do it:

  1. Cook the eggs  for 10 minutes from boiling point.
  2. Peel while still warm.
  3. Get a piece carton that’s wide enough to cover your egg and thrice its length. Fold the carton half.
  4. Place the egg inside the carton, and gently press a chopstick in the middle of the egg lengthwise.
  5. Secure both ends with a rubber band.
  6. Let cool and slice in half.
