Din Tai Fung Joins the Franchise Front in ManilaDecember 2, 2015
The New York Times listed Din Tai Fung as one of their suggested Top Ten Best Restaurants, and for good reason. The Taiwanese brand has perfected the art of xiao long bao, resulting in global praise that stretches from Japan, to Australia, USA, and now, the Philippines.
Beginning next Tuesday, December 8th, Din Tai Fung will be rolling out bamboo steamers of their freshly made xiao long bao. The traditional pork dumpling that earned them a cult following will be leading the pack, but specials like the black truffle with mushrooms, crab fat, and foie gras can be expected in the next few months. Quick tip: leave enough room for dessert and indulge in the chocolate lava xiao long.
