Contribute to Pepper
We’re always looking for great content. If you can come up with an article, recipe, photo essay, or infographic that our readers might like, you can get your work published in Pepper.
How do I contribute?
Fill out our article submission form. Share your idea, tell us why it’s interesting and how you’ll do it. If you plan to do a written piece, show us your mastery of language through the process. Anything longer than 250 words will be deleted.
What kind of content are you looking for?
Surprise us. But if we had to pick, it would be in-depth and focused food articles about cooking or restaurants in the Philippines. You’ll need a deep well of knowledge, research chops, and passion to pull it off. If you know some graphic design or take great pictures, that’s a big plus.
Do I get paid?
Yes you do. If your pitch makes it through to the editors, they’ll be working closely to make your stories happen. The amount you’ll be receiving will be disclosed in private.
How often do I need to contribute?
If you only want to submit one piece, that’s okay. To be considered a contributor (so your face appears on our team page ), just submit one substantial piece every month on time (subject to our editor’s approval and discretion).
How do I increase my chances of getting accepted?
Say something we haven’t heard and say it well. Have a genuine love for food. Don’t try too hard to impress. Be clear and focused. Be yourself.
