Have You Tried The New Cheez Whiz Milky Delight Spread?

Cheez Whiz Milky Delight1

I love bread, and I love spreading random stuff on it even more.  In my fridge there’s countless fruit compotes and jams, some chocolate and milk spreads, and a lot of bottled savory pâtés. After hearing about Cheez Whiz’s new Milky Delight, I thought this disgusting sounding thing would be right up my alley.

When you open the little jar, it smells a little like old socks, like the stinky funk of old yogurt-y cheese. Eating it isn’t half as bad though, since the spread actually has a nice smooth texture, which feels a little better than mayonnaise. It tastes like cream cheese, but definitely weirder, as if someone made it a little more sour. Maybe I need to eat a whole jar of this to get the hang of it, but if you’ve secretly been looking for something with the taste of a more acidic cheesecake blended into a fine purée, then this is it.

Just bought a trial pack and IMO, it tastes just like condensed milk, blended with grated cheese :p

I tried it a month ago. It tastes like cream cheese frosting but without the tang and with a mayonnaise-like texture. Just ewwwwww…

Honestly enjoyed it. Reminded me of condensed milk with a hint of cheese. I love putting condensed milk on bread, and then toasting it. Giving it that glazed, sticky exterior. YYUUUMMM. (This may just be a personal preference, of course. =] )

I mean, is it what it is, I’m not even gonna critique it for being something it’s not (like critiquing velveeta for not being real cheese)– though yeah, it does give a cream cheese frosting kinda impression, being slightly tangy and all, though with a rather odd texture (think hint of graininess amidst oily glop) that I personally don’t like, though it’s not bad or anything. i like it on crusty sourdough for some reason o_O. tbh given how condensed milk (and/or condensada)’s *already* popular as a spread here I was a bit surprised that kraft’s releasing this.
uh, those so-called health benefits though…. -_- not even gonna go there lol

It’s like condensed milk flavored cheese or vice versa, which ever is more disgusting.

  7. I loved it! It’s like condensed milk with a hint of cheese on it. 🙂
