What Can Your 99 Pesos Buy You for Lunch?

March 4, 2018

It’s technically still the new year, and you’re trying to change your spending habits from an expensive Christmas. Being stuck at work in the city only leaves you with relatively pricey lunch options, and even more expensive dinner plates. But what happens if your budget leaves you only a hundred bucks to spare for every meal?

Here’s where KFC comes in. Stop yourself from starving, and make yourself familiar with their old and new Super Saver Meals, which requires you to shell out a hundred pesos only—with change. You can get a one piece chicken meal with a drink, and add either mushroom soup or mashed potato for that amount, and even a combo with spaghetti and their new nuggets. Say goodbye to side salads.

  1. If I have only 99 pesos, my first choice probably won’t be a fast food place. I can have two filling meals for 99 at a local carinderia, which I’m sure is all over the place much more than any fast food.
